Some wedding days go exactly according to plan. Others remind you that the most beautiful moments usually happen when things don't.
Yesterday started with rain.
Not a little sprinkle either — the kind of rain that has everyone checking weather apps every ten minutes, moving a little faster, and silently hoping the skies cooperate. Vendors were setting up in the rain, flowers were being delivered, décor was being finished, and every detail was coming together while the weather did its own thing.
But that's wedding days for you.
About an hour before Alora and Matthew arrived, something changed.
The clouds started breaking apart, sunlight started pushing through, and suddenly everything felt different. The same space that had been soaked just a little while before transformed into a warm, beautiful setting that looked like it had been planned that way all along.
As guests arrived, the stress of the weather disappeared and was replaced by excitement, happy tears, hugs, and all of the moments that truly matter.
Alora looked absolutely beautiful in her Azazzie gown with lace detail, Matthew was looking pretty dapper himself in his suit from Men’s Warehouse, and what started as a rainy morning turned into one of those wedding days that reminds us why we love what we do.
Because perfect weather isn't what people remember.
They remember the way they felt.
They remember seeing the person they love waiting for them.
They remember laughing during speeches, dancing with family and friends, and realizing that none of the things they worried about mattered anymore.
To all of the amazing vendors who worked through the rain and helped bring this day together — thank you. Wedding days are always a team effort, and yesterday was a perfect example of that.
